I thought the new year would be the perfect time to make a change at New Walden.  The standard blog format went long past its “use by” date in my opinion, the main problem being that it hides the content of the website.  Not anymore.  Now on the homepage you can see multiple articles at a glance.  They are also visually more appealing because this format allows for more graphics.  Let me draw your attention to some of our new features:

• Headlines, breaking news, and other featured content will be highlighted on the homepage.
• Pull down menu at the very top allows you to browse NewWalden content by category.
• Side menu allows you to see recent comments that are posted to various articles.
• The side menu also features a search engine.
• Featured video and audio posts will appear on side menu.

The point of all of this is to make more of NewWalden’s content visible and attractive.  But another purpose is to make the site more interactive and dynamic.  Let me know what you think about the changes.  Are there any other changes you would like to see?  JG
