The NewWalden Mission

NewWalden is a Catholic journal for seekers of Spirit and Truth—the two great pillars of civilization. The realization that we are born into this world neither wise nor holy, and so, by nature, deprived of Truth and Spirit, is a transcendentalist insight. Wisdom and Grace do not belong to us naturally, but they can be acquired. They are the fruit, not of an inward navel gazing, but of an upward striving. True enlightenment depends on them.
