Book Talk from the New Walden Book Club (NWBC)

Welcome to a new section of New Walden.  A friend of mine gave me the idea to publish excerpts of my book on my website.  I realized that there really was no clearly defined forum to discuss my book, so I am creating one.  My book discusses many important topics, and this forum will give you an introduction.  For example most of you don’t “Thank you, John Gravino!” —Eric Metaxas, New York Times best-selling author
know that my book shows how neuroscience defends the Church’s teaching against artificial contraception.  This is fast becoming an urgent issue as the 50th anniversary of the publication of Humanae Vitae approaches.  Already, a group of theologians has published a formal statement, which they have submitted to the U.N., urging a reversal of Church teaching on contraception.  My book also discusses many other important and difficult issues like homosexuality, the New Atheism, the priest scandal, and celibacy.  By clicking on the book icon, you will be able to find multiple discussion forums for these and other issues.  I am also going to include other books that I have discussed like If You Can Keep It by Eric Metaxas.  I hope you enjoy this new forum. I watched your interview with Patrick Coffin twice and would really love to purchase your ‘pamphlet’, “Confronting the Pope of Suspicion” in paper form. Where is it available?

    1. John Gravino

Unfortunately, the book is only available as an e-book at the moment. However, plans are under way to release it as a paperback very soon. Check back here at NewWalden for an announcement. –JG
