Aquinas & Modern Science on Human Nature

From the announcement:

This Wednesday, April 18 we will be partnering with NC State Catholic Campus Ministry to host a discussion between TIC President Fulvio Di Blasi and University of Notre Dame philosophers Thérèse and David Cory about Thomas Aquinas’ philosophy of the human being. In particular, likely discussion topics include the roles of both the body and the spiritual soul in facilitating human knowledge; the immaterial components of sensation; the plausibility of theories of the soul in light of contemporary science; the relationship of imagination and intellect; and knowledge as the conformity of the intellect to known objects.

There will also be time for a Q&A session at the end of the event, which will take place at NC State University in Talley Student Union Room 4101 at 8PM. The event is open to the public and admission is free.
